This is my essay.

This was the real story that actually happened at a local city in Japan. A traffic accident occurred at midnight. Five persons were involved and they were brought in the hospital. Among them two persons had died and three were injured. Because it was in midnight, the doctor was only one, who was busy in doing the treatment all alone. After a while, two policemen came at the time and asked the busiest doctor about the medical reasons of their death. The doctor was so embarrassed, because he was engaging the injured persons. The doctor thought that the treatment to the injured persons should have the priority rather than the inspection on the dead body. However the policemen kept requesting him about the notice of the death reasons. With engaging in both treatment and inspection, the doctor managed to finish both of his jobs. But this unreasonable happening was only the prelude of the long strange night.

The nurse of the hospital called the dead persons' houses and asked their families to bring their bodies back to their houses. One of the families soon came to the hospital. With facing the dead body, they were crying. This was as usual. However the reaction of another family was out of imagination.

I don't know why, but this family, who received the call from the hospital, mistook this somehow for the swindle. They didn't believe that it was true and just throw away the receiver. No matter how the nurse explained politely, it was useless. Once they thought like that, it would be quite difficult to ask them to reconsider. The policeman, still around there, spontaneously took the phone and explained the situation. However the family didn't trust what the policeman said. The nurse asked the doctor to help, but it was in vain also. Finally they gave up.

In this case, there should be no reason why they mistook it. The swindle that is in fashion now in Japan is trying to cheat people and making them to send money. However the hospital did not ask such things to the family. What the hospital said was only asking them to bring back the dead body back. That's all. The family could notice it on the spot. With doing such things, the morning had dawned in the meantime. As it was a local hospital, there wasn't enough space or place to put the dead body on it. So the hospital started their usual treatment putting the dead body in the next room.

After the morning dawned, the family noticed the person in question did not finally come back, which made them worried. One of them checked Internet and found that the telephone number coincided with the number that last night's call. Then they realized that it was true. Eight hours had passed since this family received a call. They appeared the hospital with saying sorry in a small voice.

It is understandable that they felt strange and too sudden when they received a call from the hospital at midnight. However still, I am worried that our society has been worsened, because of the recent swindle cases. When I heard this story, I felt that this was a sad and slightly bitter. The good points of Japanese society should be to believe others. But time seems to be changing worse.
